Organic Acids and MycoToxins

In this 1 hour webinar Dr William Shaw, PhD, discusses Mycotoxins and Organic Acid Testing (OAT) – a dynamic duo for obtaining a comprehensive look into a large number of neuro-psychiatric disorders.

Brand New Information About the Correlation of Mould and Various Chronic Illnesses

The Organic Acids Test (OAT) offers a comprehensive metabolic snapshot of a patient’s overall health with over 70 markers.  It provides an accurate evaluation of intestinal yeast and bacteria. Abnormally high levels of these microorganisms can cause or worsen behaviour disorders, hyperactivity, movement disorders, fatigue and immune function. Many people with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders often excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine.

The GPL-MycoTox panel tests for Mycotoxins; metabolites produced by fungi like mould, which can infest buildings, vehicles, and foodstuffs.  Mycotoxins in the environment may cause symptoms of many different chronic diseases.  Diseases and symptoms linked to mycotoxin exposure include fever, pneumonia-like symptoms, heart disease, rheumatic disease, asthma, sinusitis, cancer, memory loss, vision loss, chronic fatigue, skin rashes, depression, ADHD, anxiety, and liver damage.

The unique combination of Mycotoxin Testing with Organic Acid Testing has not been available until recently. These tests can provide compelling insights in relation to a wide variety of symptoms and disease, for targeted and effective treatment.

Treatment options are also discussed including a new therapy for Autism.
