Achieve Optimal Gastrointestinal Health Series

Two Part Webinar Series on Using Advanced Functional Testing to Achieve Optimal Gastrointestinal Health

Webinar 1

Comprehensive Stool Analysis: Facilitation of Clinical Success and Patient Satisfaction

In this 50 minute presentation, Dr Quig explains the many components of DoctorÔÇÖs Data truly Comprehensive Stool Analysis (CSA).

The CSA assesses many digestive and absorptive functions occurring within the gastrointestinal tract as well as providing an overview of the microfloral balance, intestinal ecology, immunology and general intestinal health.

Included in this discussion:

  • The clinical benefits of going far beyond just doing microbiology and parasitology
  • The network of interactions between organisms and their environment
  • The gastrointestinal eco system and its systematic health impact
  • Microbiology Testing Advances, including MALDI-TOF MS
  • Detailed Interpretation of the CSA test results

Webinar 2

Understanding Intestinal Permeability: Consequences and Interventions

In this 1 hour presentation, Dr Quig provides a background on gastrointestinal research and how these advances have guided advances in functional testing technology and treatment.

Over the past two decades we have learnt a vast array about the microbiome and its link to diseases and sustained health conditions. More recent advances in technology have permitted cataloguing of millions of the non-redundant genetic sequences that make up the gastrointestinal microbiome.

Included in this discussion:

  • Intestinal Barriers
  • Intestinal Permeability
  • Microbiology: Insufficiency Dysbiosis
  • Mucus and Mucosal Barriers ÔÇô the Terrain
  • Gluten Sensitivity
  • Insights and Guidance for Gastrointestinal Testing
